How MMR Vaccines are associated with Autism   Leave a comment

Sounds strange right? How can a vaccine aimed at increasing the wellbeing of an individual actually trigger autistic traits in the later? I was astonished to read articles on MMR vaccines and their relation to autism. I was going through resources for autism when suddenly I stumbled upon a title where it states that MMR vaccines are directly related to autism. I quickly went into the details of it and came down with facts, some terrible ones. MMR vaccines which are actually pushed to prevent diseases such as mumps and measles are actually behind the cause of autistic traits in an individual. A study has clearly unveiled a truth that MMR vaccines are the main cause behind bowel problems in babies; unfortunately this has direct links with autism. However, researchers have also found that this is a controllable and preventive cause. Today there are many experts who don’t support the view; they feel that autism has the least to do with MMR vaccines.

Causes for Autistic Occurrences   Leave a comment

Autism is a spectrum disorder affecting the functionalities of the brain. Despite of the rapid progress, medical science has still not been able to discover medication that would help cure an autistic individual completely. Autism Treatment Wisconsin is all about hyperbaric oxygen therapy that help improve the mental and physical abilities of the individual; though not completely. Hardly have I come across autistic resources that talk about complete cure. Moreover medical experts have not been able to determine any strong cause for autistic occurrence; but I have just read a few articles talking about what causes autism. I will talk to you about it as well in the following lines.

Genetic factors: Yes some experts opine on it saying that genetic factors play an important role in triggering autism. Researchers have proved that in a family if the first child is an autistic male, the second child incur high risks of the same. However these experts are trying to find which genes actually trigger such cognitive impairment.

Neurotransmitters: Autistic individuals suffer from an increased level of serotonin in the brain. Such abnormal increase in serotonin may develop during fetal stage damaging the functions of the brain.

Premiums to go down in CA   Leave a comment

A recent report revealed that California has recently cut on the premium costs by a whopping 24% which means a lot to the people who were disturbed with sharp rise. Reports say that the sudden drop in premium costs has startled many. Now the average reduction stands at 17.9% as reported by the MRMIB (Managed Risk Medical Insurance Board). In fact the insurance board chairman is pleased that the State has taken proper initiatives to cut it on the premium costs.  He is impressed with the decision of the insurance board as a major section of the population was unable to avail health benefit plans due to the heightened costs in the premium prices. From health insurance to Group Insurance Orange County, the entire insurance industry has raised the premiums of health benefit plans.

The state of California has been provided with a massive fund structure financed by the Federal Government in order to continue with the plans until the year, 2014. CA is allotted a massive $761 to carry on with the program.

Wound Healing Qualities of Hyperbaric Treatment   Leave a comment

The wound healing aspects of hyperbaric therapy is definitely overwhelming.  On coming across an article on hyperbaric therapy its efficacy in healing wounds I was really surprised that oxygen has changed lives of many battling with deathly wounds.  The therapy which involved 100% inhalation of pure oxygen at a heightened atmospheric pressure level is a universal cure for different physical and mental ailments. HBOT has been in use to treating severe infections like necrotizing fasciitis, gas gangrene, neurosurgical infections, diabetic foot and other fungal contaminations in the body. The miracle lies in the fact HBOT is a bacteriostatic agent that battles against harmful anaerobic bacteria. As per Hyperbaric Research, the process is completed by a rapid increase in the formation of O2 radicals.

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy helps increase the bacteria killing abilities in leukocytes by oxygenating the tissues. The hypoxic wounds start healing. HBOT acts along with antibiotics to optimize the healing procedure.

Perceiving the Autistics- A Bigger Challenge   Leave a comment

In most cases parents, family members and friends fail to understand the perceptions of an autistic child. The autistic child bears behavioral traits that are pretty different from others. Autistic Resources prove that their activities and way of expressing are simply confusing for any common man to understand. However the family members need to understand their expressions else they throw tantrums and hurt themselves. There is something that the autistic child would want you to understand about.

I am going reveal some of them over here so that you can understand their basic perceptions.

  • The child may be an autistic but you need to perceive him/her as child. Treat the child like you would have to a non-autistic child.
  • Understand that the child’s sensory perceptions are distorted. Even an ordinary taste, smell or sight may be perceived differently and it might turn disturbing for the child.
  • Try speaking to the child in simple words instead of calling him/her from far away. Encourage the child in whatever interests he/she shows.
  • Don’t be annoyed with the child’s limited vocabulary. Understand the body languages well.
  • Remember they refer to images than words while addressing a person/object/animal.

So remember these that you are friend to the autistic child in your family. Friends need to understand each other.
